Personal Scouting experience & Leadership Training: Our son became an eagle in 2013. Many people will ask why I’m still involved in scouting since our son is older. I tell them I continue to see young scouts come into the troop at a young age and I watch them become confident, young men. They develop into servant leaders towards their peers and they want to give back to the community. These lifelong skills is something many other activities outside of scouting doesn’t offer to our youth. |
