How to clean a troop stove

{Asst Scoutmaster Note:  From time to time, our quartermasters will be writing up informational posts about our troop gear.  The posts have been edited for spelling, but otherwise, this will be their own words.]

To clean a troop stove you need to first take it apart the wires need to be removed first.  Then the connector for the propane comes out.  To clean use dish soap and sponge to rub at grease and baked on food use as little water as possible so you don’t get the pipes for the propane wet.  If some grease is left make sure it is away from the burners so it dose not catch on fire while cooking.
